MFV Voracious IIMission Plan

The unique aspect of this project has been the opportunity to study the Buzzard site before the platform structures have been installed. In addition to the video transect data made available by Nexen, a team of scientists from FRS Marine Lab and Oceanlab spent 5 days onboard the MFV Veracious II collecting biological information about the Buzzard site. The team used standard sampling techniques such as trawling and sediment grabs as well as the ROBIO baited underwater camera to quantify the fish and invertebrate fauna in the area.
